I use GIMP 2.4 for my things (rendering and sig making) Here are some of my creations. They have the names of those who I made them for. I mostly make requests. Some are for my personal use. In order of newest to oldest! -Spfd
To be honest, I don't think you should be doing requests yet. From the above tags, people will conclude that you are an amateur. Try using tutorials and practicing more? Learn the basics about blending, lighting, flow and text. There are some decent tags in there, but most just shows that you are not experienced in sig-making.
I never said I was doing requests. I'm just posting my work. BTW, its pretty hard to do phenomenal stuff in GIMP. There aren't as many useful tutorials! Also, I don't have as much time as other people. I'M 13 AND I HAVE TO GO TO SCHOOL AND DO HOMEWORK!!! I also render myself most of the renders used in my sigs! oh, if you didnt realise also THE ONES DOWN THE BOTTOM ARE THE FIRST EVER CRAPPY ONES I MADE!!! I meant with request on other forums (such as http://www.bfmracing.net, http://www.alliedracing.org ) we're people aren't as judgemental and they appreciate things! -Spfd
Without causing offence your sigs are all of Novice standard. But you got the basics down to a tee. Try reading some tutorials and learning some new things, you'll be moving onto Moderate before you know it. With all them sigs it looks like you have the work ethic
So... Get... Photoshop? It's not true anyway, not only do the majority of photoshop tutorials also apply to gimp but there's people on here who make good quality tags with Gimp.
It is possible to make good tags on GIMP. Also, if you think at 13 school is stressful and taking up a lot of your time, wait till you are 17. I also know that those at the bottom are your first tags, since it's pretty obvious. However, most tags at the top are pretty bad as well. Besides I think one should be appreciative when someone else actually bothers to be cruelly honest about your works. I want people to bash my works harshly, but that rarely happens. ==
Oh no, 13 year old homework  Try being 17 going to college full time, working part time, learning to code web sites, going to the gym everyday, maintaining a social life, and still working in photoshop. But you have to learn about variables, my bad.
