Windows 7 Beta

ISO that I'm currently downloading, this is the 32bit version. 64bit is in that forum above.

Current System requirements:
Windows 7 Requirements Leaked.
For the Basic Windows 7
* 1 GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
* 512 MB of system memory
* 20 GB hard drive with at least 15 GB of available space
* Support for DirectX 9 graphics and 32 MB of graphics memory
* DVD-ROM drive
* Audio Output
* Internet access (fees may apply)

For the Premium Windows 7
* 1 GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
* 1 GB of system memory
* 40 GB hard drive with at least 15 GB of available space
* Support for DirectX 9 graphics with:
o WDDM Driver
o 128 MB of graphics memory (minimum)
o Pixel Shader 2.0 in hardware
o 32 bits per pixel
* DVD-ROM drive
* Audio Output
* Internet access (fees may apply)

I'm not really sure how an OS beta works, but we'll see, lol. Have any of you downloaded it? What do you think?

it's a solid, well rounded OS.

I've had the BETA awhile ago it's alright it's really similar to Windows Vista. I don't think it's really worth it, went through a lot of trouble setting up the dual boot stuff and there isn't any drivers for Windows 7 yet so. =/

 

Saw it on somebody's computer at school, looked really nice tbh

 

I'll wait for it to release officially.

 

Its meant to have heaps of bugs- like losing files.
