<strike>I remember a while back some people had ways of saving a video (flash player) off of websites and using them in sigs.

I don't plan to use one in a sig, it's for a different type of project (experimental) but I need to figure out how I can download videos off of any streaming website (not just youtube, dailymotion, megavideo, etc.)

If I recall correctly, people were actually able to download off of gametrailers, so I'd assume whatever tactic they were using can be used elsewhere.</strike>

Solved for now, I think! Thanks all (except socsaint)!

    Thanks, all!

I've used that before, its alright. Sometimes it doesn't go full fps, and it can't tell if the video has stopped to load or not.

    I recommend:

    Replay Media Catcher
    http://applian.com/replay-media-catcher/

It can download all streaming files from flash, audio, windows media player, ect. Also your not just stuck with saving it as a raw AVI file which takes up way to much space.

You sir, did not read the topic, and are an ass for assuming I haven't searched already. (You should have been able to pick that up when I said "not just youtube..")

I'm going to try this, thanks so much! =D

I may try this! Thanks! =D

I wasn't implying you hadn't searched already. I was saying that it didn't look like anyone would help you, and that you might have to continue looking. I found applian.com with my original search terms as well, in merely a minute, so you probably just didn't have the right search terms, which, no offense, shows that you could have looked harder.

Either way, I tried to help, even though I don't know much on the subject, because no one else responded. Obviously I wasted my time. Nor am I a sir.

Thank you again to Travmanx and Daedlus. Big help, guys! Thanks! =D Praise for you at the end of the post again.

You have once again shown that you do not fully read posts or you just really suck at extrapolating information.

    I said not just youtube....

Here, just to make sure you see it this time:

NOT JUST YOUTUBE, DAILYMOTION, MEGAVIDEO, ETC.

You did waste your "time," which according to you was only "one minute." And if you "want to help," then one minute of your time isn't "helping." Especially when you did it wrong Take your google elitism and shove it up your ass. If your only talent is to google things, not find them for others and then be an ------, then have fun in life.

However, I've already gotten my help, from other two, and I thank them very much for that. Plus, they weren't pricks about it, either.

As far as I know, that records videos from sites other than youtube, but I don't do video, especially online, so whatever. But I don't really care, since you're being such a jerk about it.
