Can anybody recommend me an external HD? Price range would be about $150. I could add on a couple bucks if its needed. I would want the best. Maybe 500 Gbs or 1 Tb. Has to connect through USB.

I dont really wanna just buy for buying, I am really looking for quality and brand here.

Thanks a lot in advance, for those who tried.

The WD hard disk posted above is a nice one, price/value as well.

Good job at giving a brand instead of actually posting a hard disk you lazy ------.

Thanks to all those who replied. I most likely get the "My book essential" WD. Simple because I dont feel like spending time transfering from FAT32 to NTFS. (hehe)

    Thanks again!

    Oh I see.

But still, you fail at quality.

    So it's 50-50 now.

Go with Western Digital or LaCie. I've had other brands of externals before, and they usually crapped out on me, or they overheated too often. I have a WD and a LC and never had a single problem with them for any reason, ever.
