Yeah I know. Terrible part about teachers can be that they don't interact and just stand in front of the class and yap for entire time. And although I always said not to be like that it really is hard not to do when you are standing in fron of a classroom since you wanna explain everything and such
11th grade suckkkkedddd. 12th isnt as bad, but i still really dislike school. i mean, i like learning but i just want to get to college. im really psyched to get into an environment where i can really learn.
You're not being "taught" in college. You're going, you're listening and you're teaching yourself. Professors aren't teachers. That's me nitpicking! =D (I don't know how I feel about school... I haven't given it much thought)
Unless I have a passion or interest in what's being taught I'll straight up distrupt the class. Everything I don't like that I'm learning is only a necessity.
meh its a love hate... sometimes you love it cos you get to do somethings that are enjoyable other times its hell(majority of the time)
I thought middle school and high school were the biggest waste of my time ever. None of my classes were based on academic skill; all they cared about is if you passed the required class before it. I even got held back a math grade for not understanding the quadratic formula, even though I understood all of the other concepts. This was during a curriculum switch, so I ended up in the stupidest math class ever after that, and never finished the last algebra class because I couldn't stand it. Of course, I haven't used any of the math I learned in either of those math classes since I finished them. They never gave me enough electives to dip into all the things that could interest me. I only got as far as creative writing and graphic design, and was only entry level in either of those. They required four years of English, yet I never learned anything after the first two. Nor did it improve my writing skills. College, on the other hand, is something I'm enjoying immensely. I end up with great teachers and can take whatever classes float my boat as long as I can afford it. I'm studying photography and already took the state required courses, so all of my classes are related to that. It's awesome . My first day of winter term is tomorrow and I'm psyched about it ^_^
highschool sucks college is good in otherwords when your taking a class you wanna take its good, when your not it sucks
I mostly only like school for the friends aspect, however I'm taking Graphic Arts and Automotive Systems and love them both.
Its half-n-half Its cool for friends and girls n stuff.. because without it. No one would really have that many friends. But it sucks because, obviously the work
