Beautiful, love it! He ma be a touch over sharpened or is it the cross hatch brush strokes? either way im not 100% about it, other than that. 6.5/10 Ive been keeping track of your work and your making some really good progress from your old runescape ones xD must admit tho way back in the day when i played it i would have thought those sigs were insane as i myself was working with paint ^^
... not at all. waay to sharp, the depth is way off, and the whole tag is just very unappealing, the above statements are very false. text+border+lighting that makes no sense+bad depth.
Well so .. tell me how to do these things better, and why is the depth so way off, well if you explained what i should do to make it better it'd easily do thx for (honest) replies keep up the repliing ^_^
depth is fine its just the over sharpening and bad stock choice the depth points to the focal so i don't see whats wrong with it V, try looking for better stocks and work on bigger canvases its easier to add detail instead of forcing it all in one little spot causing you to over sharpen, with with some gears of war, dead space, and some human female stocks the curves help with effects, also your work does NOT need text and a border it looks better without if someone steals who cares shows your good enough to steal from, make your size 400x150 or 160 atleast
Very False? I agree with the over sharpening. its the first thing i said but as for the depth i think its good just the over sharpening throws of the rest of the sig
Definitely needs work, but hey, you're here to learn, right? Res said it best. Over sharpened and overblurred some places. That makes the depth look forced as well as low quality. Also, when you choose a stock look for something that not only looks cool, but look for things like - - A definitive light source (the stock you chose has a very bright, all around, pillowy light source. That's hard to work with.) - Good colors. Don't pick stocks with washed out colors or monotones. - Good flow. Find a stock that you can "see" turning out good. Try to imagine what you're goin to do with it before you just start working. Bigger canvas size always helps too. Working on such a confined space can be frustrating. Keep it up
