Alright, I'm sure there is like 100 topics about this.. but i was just curious how you think Obama will do in his first couple years? Do you think he will cause more problems or resolve some of them problems?

    Thoughts Please..

I will just be monitoring it.

There are 2 sides imo. One side is that I know he will bring change, its a faith I have in him, and I don't really care *what* the change is, because frankly nearly everything at the moment is hitting rock bottom in high level politics. The second side that troubled me only once someone pointed it out to me. At once of his press conferences someone said, 'Praise be to Obama', Obama replied with a shrug / thank you kind of gesture. This isn't generally troubling to myself, or most people, but what it shows is that he has a god-like mentality. To devout members of the Christian faith, it would be worshipping a false idol. When someone says to you,'praise be to you' you reply with, 'praise be to him', not doing so is like acknowledging you are god. I am not quite sure what to make of this so far, but I think it will show itself more and more throughout his campaign.

I think he was the better of the two primary candidates, easily, but I do kind of fear, in a way, what he could show to be capable of with our nation within his grasp.

yea I agree, he was better then McCain but I just think, considering that he is half Africa America, it might cause some trouble with just racist people in the U.S. and also people in other countries will try to test him. Then when those countries test him people will blame it on the fact that he's black but I believe they would do the same thing to McCain just because it is a new president either way

support subsidies for already profitable buisinesses at the tax payers expense
bailout failing and inefficient companies at the tax payer's expense
increases taxes on the rich the point where they invest in OTHER countries and not the US thus lowering revenue and infrastructure development
implement a large number of social works projects.

I expect a bigger government with a bunch of feel-good legislation.

    - By the end of his first term, he plans on reinstating the Assault Weapons Ban (probably permanent this time around), which is a direct infringement on our Constitutional rights in addition to completely useless (do you think a criminal will simply say, "oh, this weapon is now illegal; I'll throw it away now?").

    - Asinine, biased laws like the Fairness Doctrine will be signed into law.

    - He will allow more bailouts. By bailing out the auto industry, we've shown any failing industry out there that, if you have dug your own hole, we will bail you out (at the taxpayers' expense). Maybe he should think about loans instead (but that won't happen; making inefficient industries repay the money is full of neither hope nor change).

    - He will be (mostly) out of Iraq within sixteen months.

    - He will push for an unfair tax system to pander to his support base in the lower- and middle- classes.

All while being "tested" by all that is evil in this world, according to Joe Biden.

    Oh, and by the way:

If you're so anti-arguing, why are you jumping around like an idiot, giving commentary on something that isn't there?

I believe there will be change, I just hope that since times are tough they get better in the next year or two, I hope he can pull through with all the stuff thats on his plate now. Think when Jimmy Carter was elected president in a bad time, just hope it doesn't go down the same for him.

Obama will either bring the change to the world or he'll be leaving after a few years peacefully without much hype surrounding him.
