If your definition of hope is bailing out buisinesses which should fail, and supporting farm subsidies...

    hope away...

Rather support businesses as a whole that make the whole community prosper more than save a few extra pennies for myself that wouldn't go to anywhere near the use the government would put it to.

Then again, I already know your economic stance and how you're only out to think for yourself, I just think that's a stupid way to spend money.

& I feel kinda dumb for believing in this, but I do believe in the whole Mayan Calender, they were accurate and only off by two seconds
[I saw it in a video in spanish class last year]

GM is an inefficient company. they make overpriced cars and made poor business decisions. same goes for ford, dodge and a whole bunch of others. We're in a recession anyway, few people are looking to buy cars, and the jappers coming from the south are cheaper, more reliable, and while less powerful they work well. yes there will be less supply and prices will be a bit higher, but the cost to the consumer as a whole is still LOWER than what is achievable by forcing the common man to support a failing industry.

now I'm not necessarily against giving them a loan, but FREE money... no way in hell.

well the whole thing is that the mayan calendar ends in 2012 (i think its that year) and people are saying that means the worlds gonna end. but it just means that a new cosmic cycle begins. theres nothing to worry about. if the mayans civilization were still around, they would just turn back the clock basically.
