Guys, Which One Do You Choose For Your Girlfriend On Christmas?

chocolates...because she will actually enjoy eating them
while the flowers are more like "Oh thats romantic" "now what do i do with them?"

 

Don't know about your girlfriend but my gf doesn't give a ---- about flowers. She thinks they look nice but she'd rather have something useful for a gift. She's not a huge fan of chocolates either though so my experiences cant help you :] Personally though I'd get the chocs.

I say get both, then again, this is more of a Valentines kinda gift and the money you'd be spending on those chocolates you could buy some nice clothing.

 

Was it not you coming for me about relationship advice multiple times in the IRC? Or was it just you bragging about how you like to use girls and don't care about anything significant between them? Can't remember, but it was one of the two. To add to the fact, who do a lot of members on GR come to for relationship advice, especially IRC individuals? Yup, me. Who used to have the 'GR Official Counselor' title under their name? Me. Who is the one who responds to most relationship threads with multiple paragraph long responses people end up quoting and saying dem = win, etc? Me again.

I know women, not all of them, but the general populace doesn't want some stupid generic holiday gift.

Diamonds are also a horrible idea for any relationship lasting any significant amount of time, diamonds mean you are ready to get serious and she will begin to expect more and more.

Keep things simple, get them a little something and then take them out for a night on the town. Go to their favorite restaurant, order for them their favorite dish, make room for desert, afterwards take a walk down main street, remind her of how beautiful she is, make the night about her, and not you. She will treasure that more than just about any physical gift you can possibly give her.

Romanticism isn't based on the almighty buck and how much money you spend on her, any woman will admit to that.

 

They were talking about gifts... during Christmas season... what else would you infer?

Those aren't suitable gifts for anything except, 'I'm thinking of you'.

Guarantee you were, but atm I need to be up at 6:30 to begin construction on my Uncle's rental property so I don't have the time to search through a 4gb GR log file to find it.
