what stupid government decided it would be sensible to schedule exams right after christmas, and new year. they expect you to revise when you aint learnt ---- all anyway and your to busy downing beer to care anyway. i think a fail is iminant.
Last time I checked my exams were in May/June. I suppose technically this is after Christmas but you're stretching it a bit.
Yeah, we have diplomas/final exams right in the first two-3 weeks of January here, too. I have a midterm for my AP Lit class, as that class runs all year. I have my calculus final in january and my social studies final as well. Exciting.
Here in Belgium we always have exams in January and in June, whether you're in high school, college, ... I'm used to it alreadu so it ain't that bad
I'm in College, doing A Levels and like others, still got exams in January. It's split up between January and April/June, unless the subject's you are doing only have one culminative exam at the end of the year (Graphics courses tend to, mine does) but subjects like Law and English all have exams in January. To be honest, forget celebrating except New Years Eve and Christmas Day, put the work in instead of ------ing about. Won't be your best Christmas but you'll get decent results.
In Scotland the only proper exams we have in school/college are in May. We have prelims in January but they arn't really important so meh. Not as sure about university but hey, WHATS UNIVERSITY IF ITS NOT ONE LONG PARTY AMIRITE?
