Alright, I'm thinking about building a gaming rig, although it'll probably be used for graphics more than gaming. Here are some specs I'd like to note: - Parts should be able to be bought in-store (Zip Code 85379 [should be within 20 miles]) !!!!Bestbuy is near me, Walmart (lol) is near me!!!! - Moniter, mouse, keyboard, and speakers are NOT needed (although a recommendation for a moniter is appreciated) - I won't be overclocking - Looking for at least 1 GB of RAM, preferably 2 - HD doesn't have to be big, ~120 GB is more than enough - Games include CS:S, CS:1.6, GTA series - Programs include Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and possibly 3D modeling in the future - I don't need a super-cool-blue-lights-everywhere case Any tips on building a computer will be great aswell. Also, please keep in mind that I'm not rich, so don't go for the most expensive thing. I can handle losing 4 FPS if it means saving $80. I was looking at the PNY - Verto NVIDIA GeForce 9400 GT 512MB GDDR2 PCI Express Graphics Card at Bestbuy for $99.99 which caught my eye. The costumers review were pretty good. Anyways, I'll let ya'll do what you do best. I have a budget of roughly ~600-800 US dollars, it isn't much but hey, it's what I got at the moment.
http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWi...tNumber=9265866 remove the monitor, keyboard, mouse and speakers. Comes out at about 500 bucks.
http://dell.com seriously, if the only place you can buy parts is best buy... Dell is cheaper in this case also 9400 = ----. a 9600 is around 4 times as powerful. if you're able to order online http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814150320
