    Le sigh.

I remember the days when 3rd party controllers had rapid fire options. Sadly those controllers were usually made of materials about as sturdy as cardboard.

No matter what game your playing or what program your using or whatever your doing in life. It's impossible to prevent things from being hacked or cheated because people will always be able to figure out ways to do it. Especially with cheating in games. When they patch a game for some type of cheating people usually find an alternate way to code things to make things easier for them. If most of you guys don't know a good hacker is usually just as smart as the coder of the patch. I'm not talking about a hacker/cheater being the person who just installs the aim bot, I'm talking the person who codes it from scratch to work around the game code that could detect it.

I've played it on 360 and never encountered any cheaters.

Are there any on the console versions?

Most noobs resort to using them.

Thats why i stay away from PC games as much as possible anymore. Consoles FTW on hacers. Noobs, play the game, learn to play.

wow are they actually ALLOWED to sell modded controllers on ebay ... ?
surely the game designers or activision wouldn't allow it.

seems like a profitable business if your selling them..

I've seen many of them sell. Technically I can't see that as being fully "illegal" in anyway, but don't quote me on that one.

I think Microsoft would have been taken care of it if it was truly an issue/against a EULA/TOS or deemed copyright infringement, etc.
Also, Troll, Activision has no say in that.

Typically because these people are rare and can get banned if they're amatuers. However, hacking console games is probably some of the easiest things to do, if you can avoid getting banned.

hmm, I never did like console games for FPS. the movement of the controller is so slow and inaccurate. G5 logitech + razer destructor mouse pad = accurate aim :D

console games are only good for fifa, pes and driving games :P

oh and those modded controllers seems like the lamest thing ever... everyone just switch to PC GAMING !
    WOOOOT :D

Some FPSs are far better than others on console, that is for sure. However, you can adjust to be better at console FPS' than computer.

Its not like hacking in an online game is illegal. its just sad in pathetic.

But if you play at a decent level of competition you shouldnt have much to worry about. And its pretty easy to spot hackers in pcws/officials. well for us pc'ers it is anyway
