After a long time of open minded randomness, I need help with the background and what else to add to this.

"The Pen tool is a vector based way of making selections." The pen tool is not your average brush or pencil tool; it's based on a vectoring system that does not follow your average rule of pixels; there is NO way to change that in the pen tool, you cant make it act like a normal brush therefore it's easy to spot fake vector's and pen tool jobs. For example, zoom into my signiture, or yours. You will see that at some point everything starts getting pixelated, meaning no pen tool was used. Now zoom into zG Mantis's signiture; you can zoom in as far as you want, it wont get pixelated only a bit blurry. This show's that there is alot of pen work /vectoring present.

    Just saying.

He's right though, it's a raster based application, not vector based like Illustrator.
