The mainstream crap isn't real hip-hop.

Hip Hop's the culture, rap's the music.

And what the hell, since when is Atmosphere "real" hip-hop and not Pitchfork dick sucking garbage?

Don't say what hip-hop "really" is when the only criteria and reasoning you have is "OMG MAINSTREAM BADDD" and then say N.W.A.

When it comes to a rap group, I suppose the first group that comes to mind is Black Star (though more of a collaboration). Near perfect album by all means.

He doesn't even write his own rhymes, and they're ---- half of the time.

    I don't follow.
    NWA sucks..

    Wu-Tang FTW.
But even so, I'm so used to hearing new ---- everywhere, NWA and Wu-Tang are just so dated.
Cultures change, styles change, everything changes, get with the change..or you'll be exactly like your parents, when u have kids at 30 years old.
