well its abit to much contrasting..maybe make just some parts so contrasted right now the whole background is very strong and pops out abit to much. Browsing a site like this would hurt your eyes after a while.... The wood in the banner doesn't really fit altough i think its a great idea, maybe try incorporate it into more parts. Lower the opacity of the top white box... all boxes are grungy and that one is super clean whats up with that and finaly the Graphics Resources text doesn't stand out enough maybe make it bigger or add some shadows around it. These are pretty much all the things that bug me hehe... you're definetly getting better keep going! Revos
Man that websites gunna be nice. I like the style you went with , the only thing is all the wood is darker and then for the navigation the wood is brighter brown. If you change the shade of brown it would look better
I tried once to make a layout with wood involved, didn't get to far. This is really nice I would never of thought wood with a white and gray colour scheme.
I like the contrast and do not think it is over done. The buttons though seem out of place in that texture...maybe make them look like old sun worn post it notes?
