A lot of my tags have been told to have "floating head syndrome", in that the signature is just a render with a floating head standing out. How can this be fixed? How can I show more of the body with the canvas height being so small? (without making the height bigger?)
floating heads occurs when we cannot see the neck and shoulders of the render/focal and the head appears to be floating on effects ill use some examples of floating head http://s485.photobucket.com/albums/rr211/U...nt=Gameover.png http://s485.photobucket.com/albums/rr211/U...=OneSunday2.png[ (kinda) http://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg294/s...mium/partay.png[ floating head but is still appealing http://i411.photobucket.com/albums/pp198/Sn_Jtr/nozv2.png and non floating head http://s485.photobucket.com/albums/rr211/U...fantasytag2.png http://s485.photobucket.com/albums/rr211/U...pdancesong3.png http://s485.photobucket.com/albums/rr211/U...imeswordred.png http://s485.photobucket.com/albums/rr211/U...arsmudgesig.png http://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg294/s...emium/37764.png hope that helped
Also dont be scared to make it smaller. it can still come off as appealing even tho its not as big. and you can always delete some fx you put over him. to kind of re-attach his head.
SpRiTeZ FtW!! Then you'll never have that problem(unless your really weird and think you need to fill the tag w/ more effects then that).
So. if you just have like a shoulder and above is it still floating head? here is that floating head?
For some reason I think using sprites is corney, they look like choppy old school game midgets. But yea, to avoid the "floating head syndrome" is pretty much common sense. Just show more than just the head! lol
