my girlfriend got me a refurbished xbox 360 from EB games and it has no hard drive. microsoft has this offer where if you have an arcade/or core xbox 360 they will send you a voucher for a $20 20GB hard drive.

Well I entered my ---- on the site:
    http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/hddoffer/default.htm

and it tells me im not eligible...

is there anyway to tell what version my refurbished xbox 360 is? Is it possible it was an elite or something like that? and thats why its not working

Black = Elite. It should've given you some details.

Never hurts calling. Typically you will get some dumb girl, but at least she speaks eng. maybe she can figure it out.

lol sounds like the guy I talked to earlier today :D hahaha.
Glad you got it worked out, although it wasn't in your favor.

    On newegg, 60GB = 100$
but, the 120GB = 135$ good deal there.
