Those issues just mean your xbox is ------ed lol. Personally, I think the new like avatar thing is fairly lame, but overall the layout is much nicer. Still laggy for games and ---- which I hate, but can't do much about that.
I like it, I personally find it easier to get to things, the avatars are cool, and I think it's pretty smart how when you rotate the right stick around enough he/she gets dizzy. Party mode is pretty awesome for team games, it was annoying where you had to speak aloud if you wanted to be in a team. Now we can just be in a party. The whole thing, IMO, looks more slick and better than it did, although the old style didn't really look too bad either. The only thing I dislike is when someone logs in, and you used to be able to press the guide button and it would show their gamercard, now that doesn't happen -_-
Party thing is great, I use it all the time and it's nice when you just want to chat with friends even when playing different games. Good times haha. But I must agree, the new look is quite nice.
from what ive seen it looks good but the day before it got released my xbox broke!! Three red lights an everything, trying to get it sent off but cant register the xbox for some reason :S haha but still looks good
Anyone know how you check your current downloads in progress? I can't find it and the only way I know how to is to go back and click on "download again".
The update is nifty, I saved the games I play most to my hard drive and I must say I really do notice the difference. Also layout of the dashboard is way better. Hit your xbox button on your controller, a quick menu opens. Go to the first tab and you have the option to view your current downloads.
