A Question Of Graphics Memory

Which would be faster graphics memory, 512 ddr2 or 256 ddr3? (assuming everything else is the same on the card)

 

I updated it to one of my more recent creations, like it better? But back on topic.... anybody know which one would have higher performance?

Yah, although chances are you're comparing much more than just memory types here.

 

Why not get a 512 DDR3?
DDR3 just means higher performance at that level, so it may increase a bit. But high end DDR2 @ 512MB would be better.

But before that, what graphics cards are you considering?
