Well My Pc Wont Run These Games Anymore.

I'm sorry I dont have the time or money to pay for expensive ass machines with special graphics cards. Im fine using integrated, it doesnt suck balls, it runs the games I want to play and thats fine with me.

And thanks NL, it reset to the old driver I had before, now I just have to test the game

 

Okay say I was able to get the last Driver I had before.

Now the game actually runs and isnt laggy, but there is still a problem. ITs choppy..I want to say a little bit slow to reactive to what I do...not like lag wise.
So is source and 1.6.

I'm not sure WHAT it is.

What could I do to optimize my computer, get it faster better running, and get this god damn game to work again

 

You could do some overclocking.

I ran Registry Mechanic last night and Diskeeper and it made a pretty big different. Also deleted a bunch of programs and it seems to be going faster

 

OHH NO... I NEED TO HAVE A BACKUP OF MY VITAL DATA AND I NEED TO INSERT A DISC AND WALK AWAY FOR A HALF HOUR... THIS IS HORRIBLE...

I was being sarcastic... it's just that in general you should always have any vital data backed up

and reinstalling windows and software has, in my experience, been faster than trying to fix whatever software issues you have.

 

I couldnt agree more its so much easier and faster alot of the time

 

I reformat every 2 - 3 months when my Vista trial period ends anyway.

Repair or do a "clean install" ?

 

Clean install. Do what the rest of us do and keep all your files and backups on seperate partitions from your C drive, that way you wont have much to backup when you next need to format.

 

Try reformating the computer. The computer will get slower as time goes on due to things getting moved and messed up and a reformat cant relaly hurt.
