Dem said it. It is all about growing up. Hell I'm about to write an essay discussing two different sides of Education that some dude pointed out. Banking Method ( teacher imposing a rigid cirriculum onto students) emphasizes permanence and becomes reactionary. Problem-Posing Method (treating students as individuals and challenging them to realize their individual potential) -- which accepts neither a "well-behaved" present nor a predetermined future -- roots itself in the dynamic present and becomes revolutionary. So you can say Banking Method to be the first 12 years of your life and Problem-Posing Method to be the years after High School which are most probably College and Beyond till the rest of your life. I always liked how in college you can set up your classes to f it around your schedule; unlike elementary, middle, and high-school. ^_^
