This was already posted in the WotlK topic, and I said he was a panzy. Just yesterday alone I put in a 36 hour (almost straight) setting of WoW.

I don't know that I'd be proud of playing WoW for 36 hours straight... It might be okay if you took one hour on, one hour off. It's extremely unhealthy, screws with your metabolism, which screws with everything else. And then you're not doing anything active... Hope you exercise when not playing WoW 0.o

Of course, if you're not terribly worried about health, more power to ya, I guess... At least you're getting your monies worth.

That kid's dad already should have been limiting his computer time. He's fifteen, which makes him a student. It also tells me that he probably doesn't exercise enough or eat right, so already he's messed up. When he lives on his own, he can mess up his life all he wants. But for now, his parents need to take responsibility.

My computer would overheat before I hit that much time, lol. In fact, it overheated twice yesterday while I was working on a project :(

He should get a camera. I spend about half as much time on my 360 as I do now that I have my D90.

And yes what kind of father (mother?) lets their kid play video games for 24 hours. Especially with little food, drink, or sleep.

You can play for long periods straight without any major health disturbances. Don't believe everything you hear.

I have been gaming seriously since I was in my mid teens (say 6-7 years ago) and for the last 2-3 I have been putting in 24 hour days in game quite often. I could go to the doctors office tomorrow and there would be nothing wrong with my body with the exception I slightly tired from a little bit of sleep deprivation.

If it was Runescape...then you have an achievement. Name one person that can last 36 hours straight looking at those characters. Best I mustered back in the day was 14 hours.
