Everyone, now witness the contrast of a helpful post and a troll post.

Everyone should notice that he isn't specifically looking for solutions to deal with the outbreak, but more specifically the inflammation...

Eliminate the outbreak, you eliminate the inflammation.

Maybe I'll ask my mom if she can recommend anything for the inflammation. She's been a nurse for almost 30 years, she'll probably know something. Can't say if it'll be "natural" or not though. Unfortunately, she just left...

    Two very different things.

It's easy to keep the acne under control, but the red spots the acne leaves is the problem.

I pretty much go as natural as possible, i've been afraid to take pills cause of the after affects.. i think running and excercising and eating bright colored foods help the most.. and i had no idea sun did you wrong.. it seemed like the sun always helped me

Talk to a dermatologist. When I was fifteen, I took:

    - Mynocycline (100mg pill) 1x daily
    - Differin (gel, kind of like a spot treatment)
    - Oscian Cleanser (some sort of cream)

Most over-the-counter acne kits will have the last two in them, plus maybe some sort of other cleanser and a moisturizer. The dermatologist stuff is usually in a higher dosage, however. DO NOT go crazy on anything with Differin in it; you WILL burn your skin. I've done it twice; the first time, I could not eat and spent a week inside covered in Vaseline -- the burning around my mouth and under my lip was that bad. It will scab up after a few days; there is nothing you can do but try to keep it comfortable. I was lucky enough to do this over summer.

    EDIT:

For inflammation, try to keep it moisturized. Creams, aloe vera, vaseline, etc. There is not a whole lot you can do on those but keep at it. It should go away after a week or so if you are regular about your treatment; however, you need to keep it up even after that. There is nothing you can do if you scar your face, unfortunately.

Mynocycline has no side effects that I was made aware of. I know I didn't notice anything.
