Sadly, I use that word quite often. Strange, that it no longer has onomatopoeia status. Oh well. I'll continue to say it, and if anyone ever says it isn't a word, I'll tell them that the collins dictionary says otherwise.

 

I never even considered an actual word, more of a grunt...

LOL.. This is wonderful, just who would have thought of this word and used it for the first time!

 

it presumably started just as a sound that summed up you were meh about something.
