when i put this theme up for selection i thought of the book but it has a wider range than that

no, both do not need to be present in the tag, you can do one or the other. But make sure its actually a demon, or an angel. I don't want any of that "I chose to view it as a good and evil thing" bs

I was wondering if entering a tag without text would be alright because

1. I don't care about getting ripped

2. It's not hard to remove text from someone's tag

3. It's so easy to tell if a tag is ripped, there's no need to copyright it. (PSD's, upload dates etc)

The rule is so flawed...but I'm not asking everyone to remove text in their tags. It's just a personal problem. I have issues if I'm forced to add something unnecessary to a tag, especially something that will make it look bad. (Don't misread me, text is good when needed...)

With that being said, i'm gonna enter a tag with no text. If I'm DQ'd, oh well. Gotta type up a better paragraph next time. DD

Stick an R on the thing and stop trying to beat the system.

Stick an R on it so you can't see it unless pointed out then simply point it out with your entry comment.

If your name is not present on the tag you will be disqualified. It can take the form of your full username, partial name, or initials, and must be visible or pointed out if hard to see.

All competitors must do this, if one person did not have to do text they gain an unfair advantage over others, and the tags could not be judged the same way.

And what is so difficult about slapping on "R" on your tag?

 

^Um the fact that the tag will look retarded makes it really hard.

I tried to give a logical argument but I bet the staff didn't even try to understand it. On of ^^^ says it's a rule for ages, so apparently that reason makes the rule okay, while the other misreads me and says I'm trying to gain an unfair advantage...

I'm not trying to beat your system or anything, I just don't understand the rule. If you are going to have a no text rule, you might as well give a logical reason for it...
