Xbox 360 Controller To Pc

Okay so how do I connect my XBox 360 controller to my PC? It asks for some sort of drivers and I don't know where to get them, can someone tell me how I can get it working? I think I saw somewhere that there is a Windows Installer or something for it, where do I get that?

I'm lost, any help?

I very well know that Google is my friend but I wanted someone to help me find a software that would help me to install the Controller to the PC, I've read that article already, I came across it 10 times, the installer that guy has given the link to is for SP2 only, I'm using SP3 so I am basically looking for a upgraded driver installer..

I need the Windows Installer to get my Controller connected to the PC! Help anyone?

 

Your controller is wired right? and just type in installer for xbox 360 controller for SP3 or check the Microsoft Website

Well then maybe you can help me .ZERO did you install ALL of the updates from the Microsoft website?
