After some free time with my computer I decided to finish... though I'll probably edit it again later. WEB DESIGN: [link] SPLASH: [link] What do you guys think?
It's huge for a portfolio, far larger then it actually needs to be. Splash pages are also relatively useless, and anoying, and serve absouletely no purpose if it's just going to be "Enter". Most people actually prefer no splash. Otherwise it's ok, not really a fan of the style and it doesn't lend itself to portfolios well, doesn't really scream originality or talent like a port should.
To be honest, I agree with pretty much everything Broken just said. I think it's okay, but it doesn't work real well as a portfolio. It's not that plasticky, but it's an ok start if you're trying to get into that style
Three words: "That is awesome!" No complaints what-so-ever. Easy to read, excellent design (Did you brush it?), excellent layout, excellent implementation of color. 10/10!!! Congratulations, you've made the (my) honor roll! Almost unheard of! Just don't use the splash if you want to use the design, it is a waste of time for the clients point of view. Even the splash in this website, GameRenders, kinda pisses me off. Give me direct connection to the forum, a main website, or something of value! Not the splash!
