Macbook Question

I am buying a laptop for college and need one that is fast, has a lot of memory and is good for music (recording softwares, etc) as well as graphics and photography (photoshop, etc.)

I am looking to get a regular Macbook and would just like to know if all Macbooks come with Photoshop preinstalled on them?

 

I doubt it.

Photoshop almost costs as much as a MacBook itself,
Why would it come pre-installed,
most you'll get is a pre-installed trial

But talk to your college about student software discounts.

I get all M$ software for free, its included in my tuition,
I can buy a legal copy for Photoshop for $85.00 USD =]

And we have an extremely wide variety of software for download. Most colleges (within the US that I know of) offer some sort of discounts to students for software.

I didn't receive the discount for 3 months though. So you might have to wait

well when it comes to laptops, Apple tends to charge a lot of it's PC clones. While their proprietory OS is highly praised by some, I personally don't think it's worth the extra money. though it depends on what you're doing. What is your major? I'm an econ major and have yet to need a laptop.

 

I LOVE MACBOOKS. THEY ARE 72% FASTER THAN PC COMPUTERS!

you can get the same specs in a pc as a mac for cheaper.. especially if you build it yourself
