Assisting In Making A Logo

    I Was Curious If Anybody Could Actually Assist Me And Figuring Out How To Design A Simple Logo For Two Things

    1. Personal Use For My ----- Gaming Career...

    2. ----- Use For My Designs And Such...

    Since Im New To Logos I Have A road Block In Thinking Processes For It Because I Dont Know What Im Looking For...

    If anyone Could Give Me A Small Idea As To What I Exactly Need To Make A Great Logo Or Throw In Ideas That Would Be Fantastic....

    a tutorial,
    some basic understanding of photoshop, or something you can use to create what you need.

    and of course some time :)

    Not that I can throw a lot at you, but it really depends on what your going for, If that isn't simple enough, Start with names and ideas. Obviously if what your using the logo for has to do with mean sharp-toothed demons, or is named after them (IE : Demon-Cult) You would want something similar, Not a happy bunny, Unless thats what you were going for.

    So first, Name of the company or group the Logo is going to be for. Then work some ideas into it and try to figure out what you want to represent you and your group. Second, Find a graphic artist who's willing to do some work for you to create some mock-ups or sketches. (Unless you're that artist and would like to do them yourself) And then just play with it for a bit I guess.

    I know this is simple stuff, But You need to start somewhere. So Try to convey your image in your logo, Look up art-styles, and other logos that you like and think might look good with what your workin'-with, and then try to create something!

    I Appreciate The Helps, After Reading This I Sat Down And Messed With A Few Things In Photoshop And I Posted The End Result In The "Signatures" Thread, I Think It Came Out Very Well...
