They made one thing worse: They took out Adobe Bridge. Which is fine for designers. But not photographers. I live off of that program. Windows doesn't reveal RAW files as thumbnails, while Bridge has the lovely film strip, as well as a metadata display. It even lets you add to the metadata. I use Bridge to get rid of all the unwanted files too, as well as label the ones I'm going to use. Why, oh WHY did they take out Bridge? ;(
Well, one of my classmates got it, and you have to go through this whole complicated process to install the program that he actually gave up on temporarily. So says he.
Except that he's not. I'll ask him about it. It might be that it's on its own disc or something. All I know was that he couldn't install it, and in previous versions it installed on its own.
Wait wait, I figured it out. I was remembering what he said wrong (I do that often, so be careful what you tell me ) It's contact sheets they took out... not Bridge. And it's a complicated process to add the contact sheets. I think I thought he said Bridge because I use Bridge for contact sheets so often (and I was sleep deprived and in a hurry when he said it... oh, and hungry). I don't know why they took them out... it's required that I turn in most of my homework on a contact sheet :/ Now you guys can shut up about the whole pirating thing. I can vouch for the guy, and it's a pr0fessional program that we're in, and I know where he got it, and he's the one that told me our supplier is giving free upgrades to CS4 if you buy CS3 before they have CS4 in stock.
