That blue over the face takes to much away from your focal,
but that text is killer on this once

try using it
wil make the depth even better

 

It's already sharpened and blurred. More use of it would be overkill and ruin the perspective, perspective being the result of the correct levels of depth.

Who said the focal needs to be sharpened?

If it's already appropriately sharp to contrast the other blurred planes of depth, then adding more sharpening or blurring would just make it unbalanced and ruin the perspective. Sharpening is just one way of bringing out a focal.
