Hmmmmm, it kinda looks like grunge and splatter brushes... and even if its not, it could easily be recreated with them... I think this piece really won't work in B&W.
idk inverse...its like pink and green. its really weird because the light smudging is actually his lightsaber so the color doesnt match at all... i planned on making it B&W the whole time haha...
You could just recolour it. My current was a two tonal monochromatic colour scheme, and then used gradient maps and C4D to colour. You should click it to see how.
The smudging is nice, but only in small parts. Add some black or gray in with those white blots, it looks too unbalanced right now.
