1st of all I would like to thank dragon for supplying / helping me get a nice stock to actually suit the theme of my realism dragon sig. here is what i came up with this time....Same renders as before...used a tad diferently, and a totally new background The link to the original can be viewed here: Original BG Link Secondly, i love dragons or any mythical creatures. ive been obsessed with them ever since i had to do a school project on mythical creatures. i studied the Gryphon Anyway back to business Border: v2: the text on here is actually on a brick wall....don't know if you can see it properly. but i wanted an "engraving" look on the wall. didn't havea ny other ideas on where to put it CnC, Please
its much better than the first one, with the green fields, atleast this time the dragons match the background i would try and add some depth of field, to make it seem more realistic.
looks nice ) try to make the canyon in the back differ from colour so it looks far away, maybe you can do that by burning the area with the rocks/trees/rest so its darker
it looks great the fire that the first dragon is blowing at the other dragon seems kind of unrealistic to me though =x and I agree with the above about the canyons colors
thanks for comments again guys @chipmunk - i know it does kind of look unrealistic but i have no clue how to make a real looking fire. i red up on a few tuts but the closest i got was an explosion.
Fire's un-realistic, and unfortunately aside from that you seem to have done practically nothing. Fire doesn't seem to be affecting the lighting of the area/dragon it's hitting so get busy with the highlighting and brighten it up in parts. Also, the blue dragon, it's wing is too obviously cut through the tree as you can see sky through it, where there should be wing.
if you need to make fire realistic check in with draven some of his sigs are amazing with that kind of stuff
i see. ill probably mesage him later on. he seems so busy with the tournament atm. thanks for the comments guys. @ broken, i dont get what you mean with the dragon and his wing...
