He was born in Kenya to an American woman. Thus he is a US Citizen by birth, which means he can.

And why the ------ would anyone want the president to be assassinated? I could understand Bush... but wtf has Obama done? Nothing. He's a black dude who is running for president lol. Oh and the KKK won't assassinate him. Because they believe that the pure blood of your family comes from your mother, his mother is white, so technically they believe him to be white.

I have a sneaking suspicion that Obama will win, but I'm voting McCain.

I'm thinking Obama will win. The thing that scares all of the undecided voters away from McCain is the thought of another Bush and the fact that Palin is a complete moron who contradicts herself. The fact that a lot of his political views mesh with the original views of George W. Bush during his campaign for office in 2000 is something that many are worried about. But I personally find Palin a humongous reason to be worried about the republican vote this year. The fact that she openly states she is for creationism, yet at the same time says that if global warming melts the ice caps polar bears can adapt sort of makes me think that she isn't very knowledgeable about topics that her attention will be focused on. Just my two cents

    Obama.
Matter of fact, many republican states have gone democratic this year in the projections. Why? Well, for starters the economy was in an all time low, gas prices was sky rocketing and unemployment rates were high, thus contributing to less wealthy individuals. In case you haven't noticed, liberals tend to be in favor of those lower and middle class individuals and against high class individuals. What is Obama's economic plan? Well for instance its tax cuts on lower paid individuals and higher taxes on higher paid individuals (as it rightfully should be). He also has stated in his campaign that he is all for promoting a healthcare system for individuals less priviliged, etc. Everything a lower or middle class person could want, Obama has shown desire to give. McCain is your typical republican, its all about war, less taxes on America, more self independance, etc. Those things appeal to high class individuals. Obama also wants to pull out of the war, McCain wants to stay in. The war has been going on for years, most Americans and their families are ready to have their relatives back home and safe.

Obama is a smart choice, if only for fixing the economy alone.

This is smart thinking, of course no one can deny he has a majority of the minorities vote because of his skin color, and a majority of young individuals vote due to peer pressure, etc.
