Amd Athlon Or Intel Pentium?

Intel sucks.

AMD runs hotter than P4 processor? What are you crazy? Intels run alot hotter than AMD chips. The Prescott runs hotter than any of it's AMD 64 equivalent. [/b][/quote]
I heard that they do, I may have gotten it confused and said it the wrong way round though

 

i have had 3 made up pc's all of which has been athlon, so athlon all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

i would choose athlon any day over pentium but even more, i would go with the 64.

 

intel because of its compatability, when it comes right doen to the grind, its whichever pumps out more performance, which i think is AMD

lol, AMD 3400+ were a reject batch. They had messed up cache and AMD sold em to hp, alienware, etc.

 

AMD are more efficient but i have never had any problems with either.

 

Each processor has it's own strong features, but personally, I prefer AMD (I'm very satisfied with my AMD 64 3200+).
