    I could be a hip-hop artist. And that's a serious statement.

In all fairness, Danger Doom is horrrrrrrrible. And not even that. Danger Mouse is great. He make great music, and has worked with a lot of talented people to make great stuff (Ghetto Pop Life feat. Jemini). MF Doom on the other hand is Horrrrrrrible at everything. He was MF Doom, and he was bad so he changed his name to MadVillain. He released one decent album because he had lots of help with it, and then changed his name again just to release an album with Danger Mouse.

That said I do think that American rap/hip-hop is dead....or at least it should die, because I'm tired of hearing the same basic song about how pimp someone is over some synthesized drums and a synthesized beat. I've only listened to a bit of "African" rap (e.x. The Dusty Foot Philosopher - K'naan) and I have to say that I enjoyed it a lot more than any mainstream rap garbage.

And I wanna slap the ---- out of Lil' Wayne and Soulja Boy. It hurts me every time I hear that crap on the radio. The best rapper nowadays is "Weird Al" Yankovic anyway.

First he was Viktor Vaughn then MF Doom, then MadVillain (and yes he was mainly madvillain. Madlib did have a big part in the madvillany album, but whenever he was actually in the song, the artists listed are MF Doom and Madlib), and now he's part of Dangerdoom being held up by Danger Mouse. He doesn't sound good. His rhymes don't flow, or rhyme, or have any feeling in them. He basically sounds like he's reading off an essay in every one of his songs. The only reason he's got any recognition is because he associates himself with talented people like madlib and danger mouse. He's absent from the first half of "old School Rules" in the Danger Doom album, and that ends up being the best half song that Doom was ever involved with.

Hip-hop? Good? I believe you are mistaken my fine fellow. Hip hop and its extreme ludicrousness shan't pass through my ears again! I don't know what you vagabonds listen to these days, but why don't brew a nice cup of tea and listen to some scholarly music such as the great Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart? You shall not be disappointed!

Unless you're* a ******* who obviously can't spell because he never received a proper education living in the hood.

Properly educated individuals listen to music, degenerates listen to the filth known as rap, Get back to the cotton field.
