C&C? First attempt at a decent sprite signature.

    Thanks for the Tut, Birdman!

    the scanlines are too opaque...
    lighter them up a bit

the text also seems to create another focal which is a big no-no.
move it in close to the render.

the second version is so bright, its hard to see the render

    - nice outcome for a first try ! mine was .......

Not sure exactly what you mean by - "Lighten them up a bit" As far as the scanlines go. I played around with the text, And this is what I got.
I removed the Scanlines over the Sprite, and also over the White parts so it doesn't look as "overlay" ish.

scanlines are the effect you got there with those vertical black lines all over your sig.
they are too visible, they should be more subtle so lower the opacity.

Ah, I mean, iKnow what a scanline is, I just didn't know what you were trying to say by "Lighten them up".

Thats at 14% opacity. They just seem a little too light for me. They don't feel incorperated enough in my opinion.

lighten them up - lower the layers opacity

    keep at it bro.
tags only get more fun the more you try
i always used to try a tut 3 times.

so by the end you can remeber what you were doing,
    and not just following instructions...
