  7. On November 4, 2008, by a vote of 5-0, the Federal Communications Commission agreed to free the unused TV airwaves for unlicensed public use.

    This is a tremendous victory for Internet users.

    I have to agree with Xen though...why do we have people who don't know what year it is?

    Anyways, on topic...awesome sauce on the Nov. 4th news. The possibilities are pretty much endless with this technology, as far as wireless connectivity goes.
