I just browsed a bit and come on to this http://labs.mozilla.com/ it has some really cool project going on for example: with a pair of hotkeys a popup comes and you can search whatever you want, email you want, or translate you want you just need to select the text, and for example type email to john doe and if there's a john doe in your contactlist it will email it too him i'm quite excited by the other project too check it out maybe this is old but i just discovered it
Very interesting, aurora looks very cool though I would like to see how smooth it would be on older computers. Also I wouldn't mind knowing how much bandwidth this would take up.
Saw a video of this like a month ago, neat stuff but doesn't seem really that...useful. The only cool thing is how you can subscribe to new commands and make your own. That is where endless possibilities are made. But in general, Ubiquity is stupid. Oh wow, insert a map into email. Big deal. You attach an image file or use html to display it. All Ubiquity does, is make you have to open a console, type something THEN its there. Big whoop. Same with the reviews. I'll take the extra few minutes researching it on google then just throwing in some map and review hoping both are legit. Also the twitter thing is dumb. Cool you can highlight and paste it, then open the console, then type your twitter and it posts it on twitter. Thats really NO big advancement at all, and is not that AMAZING and AW inspiring. Ubiquity is stupid, and this guy lets us know a million times that what he was created was no possible before. Okay ass-------er. Great. When I start seeing some cool user created commands maybe ill try it out.
