Bethesda will be releasing fallout3 on steam, IE, EA does not have them. I say steam needs to become a big opponent of EA, because it's clearly better. It may only be a distributor right now, but it's kicking ass and starting to sell a lot of ----.

EA: Crysis was an overhyped let down. Sure the game is amazing and ----, but you want a good story, and an actual good play, this game isn't for that. It's more of a fun ------ around game. BF2 is pretty good. Not too bad. I find 2142 isn't that bad as well. That heroes thing however was just retarded. Merc 2 was a let down. I have no care for the sports games really. James bond games were ruined after Goldeneye. Spore was overhyped but still interesting. I don't place the blame on EA for this, but a warhammer game without lizardmen and skaven? The ------ they thinking. They don't get warhammer.

However, EA does do okay in other areas. Need for speed are still good(Aside from prostreet), Command and Conquer(Although 3 was a bit iffy) had been doing good with them since like...RA2 I think they started with them? and RA2 was a master piece. I don't remember if EA went with bioware before or after mass effect, but mass effect is some fun ----.

Ubisoft: Personally I don't think ubisoft is doing that bad at all. I don't like the splinter cell games so much, I've been a rainbow six fan, and played mostly since rogue spear and ----. I think vegas is some fun ----. I think vegas 2 is some pretty fun ---- too. But I don't really play single player, Multiplayer is where it's at for these games. Assasins creed, I've never played, but I've heard both sides of the story for it.

I think the problem is, ---- is getting way too overhyped before it's released, and then you all just get disappointed. Or, and no offense, some of you are just not understanding of what a good game could be. Well that's actually kinda stupid too say, but look at all the people who completely despise the STALKER games, when they are truly works of art.

Steam is Valve. Valve have maybe one 100th of the budget of EA. Games aren't made for free, even if Valve could distribute them, market them, and still find a way to get disks made, packaging made, and shipped and put on shelves.

Warhammer Online is Warhammer Fantasy. Skaven and Lizardmen are Warhammer 40k. Learn your Warhammer.

Spore was hyped by ------ing Will Wright. He alone was bull---- enough to make the game seem better than it could be.

Crysis was purely developed to market the Crytek engine. They needed graphics, physics and gameplay. Storyline and depth didn't matter.

    Go home kid.

There's also no tomb kings, vampire counts, ogres, wood elves, and instead of warriors of chaos just being chaos, there should also be dameons and beasts of chaos. There's also no brettonians.

    As commented, learn your warhammer.

Skaven and Lizardmen aren't in Warhammer 40k at all, they're in fantasy.

The race choice wasn't great, all too similar except the Orcs/Goblins, waiting for at least one Warhammer game to have Lizardmen in but...no.

Skaven are....somewhat existant in 40k. I don't know if you would go on and call them skaven though, but they live in some slums in hive cities and ----. Not really a major army or anything though which is the point however.

Well a friend told me they might just add on bit by bit, but yeah, I'm waiting for some lizard men too.
Or better yet, I'm waiting for that warhammer 40,000 online.

EA is giving us a lot of new good and fresh things in this generation. To name a few: Skate, Skate 2, Dead Space, Mirrors Edge, Red Alert 3 etc.

The hate is stupid, it's a good company.

The new 09 sport games from EA have been a big improvement, ex. NHL 09 and Fifa 09.

Ubisoft used to make really good games but lately they have no imagination.

I like both UbiS and EA. UbiSoft for R6 Vegas (Game kicks ass) and EA for the fifa series and battlefield. Well done.

Rainbow Six Vegas was fun, but what the hell was the deal with the Sniper rifles? No use for 'em. They need to go back to the Rainbow Six 3 days. That was the best R6 game.

You play Bf2 online? See how glitchy it is? ----...

Agreed, especially on the producer part :P

I liked the Battlefield games despite the glitches. It was and still is a fun experience playing them. In my opinion, BF2 is not as bad as 2142 glitches. I was disappointed though with EA with Mercs 2. The game wasn't as good as I thought it would it be, and wasn't as good as the first one either.

Just an FYI and kind of a bump. I've updated the topic a little. Adding a little warning of the dangers with downloading digital copies (especially from EA).

So if EA is the only company able to publish NFL games, other publishers will just get Game Devs to create College football games, I'd actually get that over a NFL game. In my eyes though, EA was and always will be a sports game publisher. Never played Crysis though, would like to, but it still doesn't change the way i look at EA. Didn't EA try to take over Take-Two Interactive? (Rockstars publisher). GTFO of Take-Two IMHO.

I love how EA wasn't able to take 'em over. If they did, it would be a gaming travesty. The GTA games would go on sale when in beta and crap. Man, I'd probably cry.

Great they weren't able to. B)
