    And no GBA slot, one of the most useful features of the entire console.

    It's dropped the gab slot, which could be seen as a bad thing, but also the new hardware is quite exiting on a homebrew side of things. The origional DS (+ lite) needed the gba slot for an expantion bay for extra RAM for the internet browser cart, but on the DSi the internet browser is built in, which suggests better hardware (namely extra ram). I personally think it will quite exiting to see what homebrew will surface for it a few months after launch.

    Just Nintendo lookin' for more money :(.
    I bet you they find a gimmicky way to tie in the camera to a game :P.

    I'd never buy a DS, just because I hate what Nintendo has become :(.

    I bet the only reason this is coming out is because it has a chip (or something) that prevents the use of R4/M3 cards.

    Very much doubt it. Even if they did new passme devices would be develloped. And if the SD card slot is hacks, nobody woudl need a slot-1 device anymore. That asuming that sombody can figure out how to boot unsigned code from the SD card, which i shouldn't think woudl take too long.

    those games in that video make the DS look awful..

    Honestly I doubt this is going to produce much more homebrew, a lot of homebrew already makes use of the rampack for the browser so the extra ram being built into the DS wont make a difference.
