    Best screens are Dell. I just got a 2408WFP and it's hands down the best 24" on the market. Can't get on the Dell US site atm, but it's probably out of your price range.

    Of all the screens listed above, this is the only half decent one. Best viewing angle, and best panel.

    yea nl cant really see myself spending 620 on a monitor no matter how good it looks

    Hehehe, it looks really good. I managed to get it while it was $100 off, and managed to score a free multi-function printer in the deal, which was promptly sold for another $100, so it really only cost me $700NZ. I'm tempted to buy another. Although the 2409WFP is nearly available, so that'll either push the price down more on the 2408's, or hopefully be reasonably priced enough to justify buying one.

    I wonder how much you'd be able to find a 2407WFP for, as even that would kick the ass of those low end Samsungs (even the high end PVA panel ones) and crappy Acers.
