I have my very own domain and a neat hosting package from GoDaddy.

I wanted to know what things will I be needing if I want to convert my domain site into an image hosting site.

Is it possible for me to do so? I can probably find an image hosting web template or make it myself.

But, what do I need like applications and other things installed on my domain to make it an imagehosting website...where you can host jpg jpeg png gif bmp tif tiff psd files like under 2 meg each...

    So...help?

first off a host that allows you to run an imagehost (most only let you on a VPS or dedi)
GDlib needs to be installed if you intend to do any manipulation (thumbnails, watermarking etc)
of course, php and mySQL, possibly CGI too
A max upload thats bigger than the max you allow (should be shown in phpinfo)
    a crap load of bandwidth
a half decent amount of diskspace
oh and a image host script, theres a few free ones but most are badly coded and lacking in features, you can get a half decent one for around $30-$50
