He has been up there for a while now. It is time for him to step down and let others pass him Also, 17 Billion $ is enough to live another 20 years or so Zain
I doubt that everyone feels that bad for him. These type of crisis happens on a regular day basis. And this time it happened to a Top Man of the World. It is called life. He shouldn't have given all that money to those companies for them to hold. All I can say is that it is life and we all have to move on. He will go down in history as the man who lost the most biggest amount of money ever, but he is an Indian and as far as I know him (researched him) he will come back up to the top again in a year or so. It is nothing he needs to cry about. So yeah... Zain
what a lot of you people are not really thinking about, yeah he has a fortune of multi-billion dollars, but all of that money was not spending cash, most of it was involved with his stocks and his own company, so not only did HE lose $28 billion, but as well as the company, meaning people who worked for him lost their jobs, the money that was lost, was LOST, not as in someone else has it, but it is gone, no one has that money anymore, it is gone from the economy. This is a huge effect on the world, and other people's lives, not just his alone. He didn't go to a local casino and gamble $28 billion on black. I am a poker player, and I play about $200 games, and average a little over $150 an hour, but when I lose $200 or so, it does take effect, and cause a lot of stress, losing $28 billion, I couldn't understand the pressure and stress that would accumulate after such an event, my life would go on total tilt, and I would be freaking out. This is a big deal, it's not like "oh well, I still have $17 billion. Yes, that is a lot of money, and still able to live comfortable for the rest of your life, but with the way the economy is going, money is not looking too good, and he will be a lot of trouble soon. I hope he figures a way to deal with it, and doesn't tilt away more of his company's money, causing more people to be fired and losing their jobs.
I agree with this, although he has alot more money to look forward to it, if you look in his shoes you would be just as stressed by losing such a large sum of money.
Bear in mind that his estate was worth $35 million. Sure most of that is probably in stock, but the number is his personal money.
the poor old devil....how on earth is he going to pay mortgage now? i dont think i'll sleep tonight i feel so sorry for him.........................i dont think
