This thread seems to have inspired a lot of people into selling. I'm gonna open up another auction of my own very soon.

There is no quick fix, the credits are really worthless here, the cost of obtaining them out weighs the worth.

Simple thing is, no credits for posting, make people actually earn their credits, make payed tournements eg, a cost for SOTW and dispose of the credits over a long period of time and only pay out winners... this will force people to trade again/

If you remove the gain of credits for posting then the GR economy would completely stall. Tell me, when you first joined the site, where did your first tutorial worth of credits come from? Or were the first tags you ever made simply good enough to sell?

What I think would be cool, although this is probably impossible, is hold regular competitions that have rewards, either real life or credit/premium membership etc, that have prerequisite requirements. E.g, a 2, 3 or more average posting average in the month or so prior to the competition, and that way we'd be encouraging members to become active. GR points won't mean anything to someone who is never active, would they.

You could, I suppose, simply add that to the requirements for the SOTW, LAOTM, ROTM etc.

It wouldn't completely stall, none more thne now anyways. ATM they are worth nothing ... so having more of nothing is still nothing.

Buy your credits, im sure there is something you can do to obtain some credits. I mean its not hard to make a brush pack, make a tutorial write anothers tutorials...

Haha. I guess I owe you some credits AG, I was sure I had sent them to you and was waiting for you to send me my .psd. Then I read this topic and look at my bank and find I still have all my credits. I'll send them now. By the way, I have only recieved one PM from you informing me that I won the auction.

Well it seems more and more people have started to sell and they are being bought/bid on (almost everything in the auction room has a bid on it and quite high bids too!)

It would seem this topic along with the credit ratio update has helped this along a little, i hope it continues! This is still being discussed in the staff section also!

Thank you for all your feedback and replies guys, they are all appreciated :)

Also TBH everything you need in this craft is pretty much free on this site which means there isn't a need to buy much ... i mean there are tons of free tuts and renders which tend to drive the biggest markets but with alot of it free here it kills buissness.
