Have you ever seen 10 million dollars? No. Does it mean it doesn't exist? No.

There's no way of exactly knowing. Unless he appears on a public place where there are cameras and does some type of unexplainable miracle.

    Oof?
This is possibly the most pathetic thread I've read, not only did you state you could prove the existence of god, YOU, which nobody has ever achieved before but you then proceeded to not actually provide any scientific reason as to why God is a fact. Other people's work and so on.

Of course there' anomalies with gravity, but guess what, there's anomalies in the Bible, not every verse makes sense, there's mistakes, errors, blips.

People like this are the reason I became a damn Atheist in the first place, pushy Christians who think that by forcing their religion on you they can save your soul, guess what, I'd rather go to hell. Any god who sends people to hell for not believing in him in the first place is a bit of a crap god anywho.

Yes, you made a fairly long, detailed post, admittedly with no redeeming facts whatsoever but we'll ignore that for now, you didn't even get close to proving the existence of god rather then exploiting some minor flaws found in science. I just love how someone religious can shoot down science for it all being theory's and not factual when their beliefs are even more unlikely.

God, isn't, real. My opinion, and thinking a forum topic and a link to a video is going to change that is not only deluded but slightly insulting. Must be getting worried with the whole, LHC thing coming soon eh?. Even as an Atheist I've never wanted proof of god, this is primarily due to how modern religion is acted out and it's followers (Not all, don't get me wrong) being so pushy. Science is based on a lot of previous findings yes, a lot of factual events that we know happened, the bible is based on a book, that nobody can prove in the slightest except having faith.

I don't have a problem with religion, I actually like the fact it brings happiness etc. to so many people. However, don't force it down our throats with such a pathetic thread that barely related to god being real and didn't even slightly prove his existence.

    Good day.

@ Jin: " i do not believe in god, because i see the world how it 'truly' is, which is a violent and and grotesque world.

Do you believe in God? Im sure the things you believe is that everything happens because it is gods will. But tell me, if someone puts a gun to your head and pulls the trigger. Is this an act of God? or the man behind the trigger? If god is so absolute, why didnt he stop the man?"

-All that shows it that God could be all loving, but not all powerful.
Im no christain by any means.

    God has no creator.

the way I view it, the existence of God is more or less a property of the universe. God has no creator in a sense as His existence being a property of the universe dictates that He would transcend time. That is, the fourth dimension does not affect God as it would anything else in existence.

When I try and rationalize God's existence, i think of Him, almost as though he were another dimension in and of Himself, and much like space can distort time, so can God distort the other dimensions as he pleases while simultaneously He is not necessarily altered by the happenings in the other dimensions.

and even then my rationalization is probably a tremendous degree off from the reality and would need to be refined a fair degree. I as a finite being can only begin to comprehend a small portion of an infinite God.

as for why this or that happens... I do subscribe to the clock maker model, in which God has the capacity to do whatever he wants but where he often does nothing. Well all know in the end though

Exactly, we believe by faith and nothing else.

    Great contribution to the thread.

No one can be sure whether their religion is right or wrong. Everyone has to make a choice as to whether thye do or do not believe something. I personally believe in Christianity. However I do not attempt to discredit other religions. They choose to live their life the way they want to and I choose to live my life the way I want to. Coexist and all that.

We all die. You cannot argue that "God wants us dead" because it is inevitable. From all religious points of view there is a reason for death and that is usually an eternal life or a reincarnation. God sees this as something that is more desirable than human life which is full of torment and anguish.
