I am sure a lot of you are really into the game, but what do you think or expect from the movie? I wasn't to into the games, but when I saw the first 8 minutes of the movie that leaked, it drew me in. You can tell that the video is still in production stages, but it's authentic. Looks awesome to me, though the first 3 or 4 minutes of it were the opening titles and credits. You do however get to see several Marines in action, as well as the Brutes, I think there may even have been an elite for a second or two. You get to see the warthog and the drop ships too, as well as a Marine Sniper shooting at close range Brutes. I wasn't too impressed with how the needler sounded though, but I am sure once it's past production stages, the sound will be much better than it was. Anyway, point of topic, what do you guys expect from the movie, and what are your predictions with it? If they even release it at this point. I've seen clips from shots they made a LONG time ago when it was "in the making". It actually looked really cool, but that was before they added the bubble shields and stuff into the game. If they add the power ups, it's guna be ---- with the CG in my opinion. But, judging from the clip I saw like 3 years ago....it will be good if it ever comes out.
Im sorry but I personally believe that a Halo movie will be just as horrible as the games. The games were garbage to me. It felt like every other shooter ever created all they did was change the weapons and that was it.. The movie will only be a realistic version of the game and while the explosions will be nice the story will be based on the exact same things the game was... So in my personal opinion the movie will be, for the lack of a better word, garbage.
I personally didn't mind the games but unfortunately Hollywood has a terrible track record with making games into movies. I think the Resident Evil series of films were the most successful and they sucked something bad. Personally I'd be happy if the movie never comes out, at least then it wouldn't ruin the game for me
