I had a 512mb gfx card (im not a gamer its to important) when I sent my laptop in for repair, I just noticed, I have a 256mb one now, what the hell? Of course I have no proof it was a 512 so I don't think I could do anything about it, but this is lame lol
maybe it's glitchy. some people have 1gig of ram but it registers as 512. but it still probably is using 1gig. something like that.
you can always try to call the company anyway arent there any specs on the box from the laptop or something? if you still have it
Yeah, you should have a paper of purchase or some info on the box of what was in the laptop when you bought it. That can count as proof.
I got my pc a few years ago from some dodgy indian guys who ran a PC shop. They were doing custom builds and it was my mum buying it, she got 512mb of RAM because that was reasonably standard back then. When we got the pc I checked it out and they'd only put in 256mb :/ we took it back and they made up some ---- about half the RAM breaking or something. ------s.
sorry to hear that,] that's not right lol maybe im just delirious and for soem reason think it came with 512 lol cant remember at the moment
What graphics card did it actually have. Not all cards come with 512/256mb variants, especially not mobile cards.
its a nvidia geforce somthin, i got to much in my life going on at the moment to fret over 256mbs of a card I don't even use to its full potential
It will have always been 256mb then. Not that it matters. The difference between 512mb and 256mb onboard is sweet **** all. They're both ---- at almost anything.
