I am kind of mixed I like both but for different reasons...

I like the first for the simplicity of the background and I like the second for the blended style of the render and the splatter brushes on the left

I don't like the text on the second one or the random planets..

overall good job for your first gimp (I don't even use gimp cs2 for me  )

Btw i am not a big fan of the texting you know my greatest sigs have been ruined thanks to my awful text placements ...

You should have only made 1 thread and posted all of your tags in it. But i went through all of your threads and decided i liked this one best, v1 ftw. The color variety is better and doesnt have that orange blotch coming from the bottom left corner.

Gimp a pain the butt? lol PS is! I find Gimp a lot easier to use, but currently loving my new stuff from CS2 :)

I think it would have looked better if the focal wasn't centered. And seems like the quality is too washed out. Try and preserve the quality of your focal when working with it.

@ pink ... it is bro i have been living in the luxury of ps cs3 for too long . i was pained to see how the image applying is done on gimp so could not make the depth better + the render raising was a pain in the butt that's why i have mad! respect for anyone that has used gimp for a long time & is actually pretty good with it :(
