My Xp That Looks Like Vista

Alright, I got my lappy back today, and as promised, i am transforming my xp into vista and videoing it,

so Ravr, i need you to take video of what I should take video of, because I am not sure what you would like to see

and I even went as far as to changing my bootscreen and log in to vista, so if needed ill use my phone to record those

 

ok, well while you're at it just make sure to get DX11 working and improve the I/o performance a bit.

 

There is a way to do it in XP apparently.

Oh wow this is so awesome I have never seen anything this cool before in my entire life you are the best windows hacker ever because that looks exactly like an operating system that has 99% of their GUIs in common have my babies.

Utter waste of a thread. This use of the internet would be better put to use curing cancer, or researching how to make pistachios just that little bit more delicious.

and Ravr, I will admit right now there are a few things I know that I probably cant do,
The onmouseover wireless internet display
the resize of the icons in explorer (in the way you showed)
the changing of the color of the theme like that (including the layout of that)

i think there were a few others i cannot think of, i will rewatch the video, i forgot a few tweaks so i will be ready by the end of the week probably

 

You can find coded tweaks from third party places that will allow you to do the scroll overs and such btw.

I was working on a vista skin a while back, forgot where I found them (not that I would use them, I would have them disabled in Vista if I ran Vista lol), but it was fun to tinker with for a while.

 

Windows is windows, they all look the same minus a few colour changes and font size changes. I really don't know what you're gambling here that it's worth all this effort to win a bet. Also, not spam. Was relevant to the topic. Thanks for the rep.

 

maybe if ur working with vista normally like a normal person would do, but it offers alot new features which are there, but they just dont show that easily
